Laura Gagliardi is an Italian-American author, screenwriter, and filmmaker whose work explores memory, identity, relationships, trauma, resilience, and the strange ways people make meaning out of their lives.

Born in Italy and now based in the United States, Laura writes across genres including psychological fiction, romance, memoir, philosophy, and contemporary drama. Her books include the Angels & Nightmares series, One Night, Unbound, Destination: Unknown, and The Book of Aletheia.

Her background in psychology, cinema, literature, and storytelling informs work that often moves between intimate emotional experiences and larger questions about human behavior, memory, morality, and connection.

Laura is also a screenwriter and filmmaker, developing original features and television projects as well as screen adaptations of her own published work.

When she is not writing, she can usually be found somewhere between Los Angeles, a movie theater, a road trip, or an argument with one of her characters.
