Hi, my name is Larry Good, but you can call me Vocabularry.

I graduated with a B.A in English from the University of Virginia and seven years later from the College of William and Mary with a master’s degree in Education (with an emphasis on the teaching of English). I then taught high school. With additional qualifying classes I became a librarian at the intermediate, junior high, and high school levels.

My first book, The Turquoise Caboose, is a series of letters to my daughter when she was one year old, to allow her to know her own life at that age. Following this, I began The Tree of Ticket Leaves. My second daughter, Meri, is the main character in these adventures. I continue to write every day, with an emphasis on poetry and science.

I was born, raised, and continue to live in Nottaway County, Va.
