History has fascinated me for as long as I can remember, but my journey as a novelist truly began when I discovered my grandfather's handwritten World War II memories among my family's belongings. Reading his account of the war inspired me to preserve not only his story, but also the stories of the countless ordinary men and women whose courage and sacrifice shaped history. After a rewarding career as a high-tech executive and entrepreneur, I turned that lifelong passion into writing. I'm a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and I strive to bring thoughtful research, an analytical perspective, and historical authenticity to every novel. I'm best known for writing historical fiction, with World War II providing the backdrop for much of my work. My novels explore themes of resilience, honor, and the quiet courage of ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances. I also enjoy venturing into contemporary fiction and speculative "what if" scenarios. Regardless of genre, my goal is always the same: to create compelling characters, tell emotionally honest stories, and leave readers with something worth thinking about long after they turn the final page. I believe powerful stories don't require graphic language, explicit scenes, or gratuitous violence to make a lasting impression. Instead, I hope my novels confront difficult realities with honesty and restraint, allowing readers to experience the story's emotional weight without unnecessary sensationalism.
