L.P. Smith is a Desert Storm veteran and the founder of a service-disabled veteran-owned investigative firm specializing in complex audits and organizational reviews. He has been involved in major municipal and law-enforcement evaluations across Massachusetts and has worked on some of the region’s most challenging public-sector inquiries. Smith teaches courses on investigative methodology, public accountability, and the use of artificial intelligence in modern audit practices. His work focuses on improving transparency, strengthening public trust, and helping communities understand how oversight systems function. He is also the host of a podcast exploring real-world case studies in government systems and investigative work. Smith lives on the Massachusetts–New Hampshire seacoast with his two German Shepherds.
