Kysa Steele is an IT professional by day, and by night an author, TTRPG GM, cat servant, and wife (though the order depends on which cat is asking). She grew up devouring books and plotting to write her own. While newly minted as an indie author, she's been telling elaborate, occasionally cursed stories at the TTRPG table for years. Her cat-centric fiction spans dark fantasy, detective noir, portal adventures, and apocalyptic comedy. The Infurnal Catastrophe series features a cursed demon princess and infernal magic, while the Orange Protocol follows a hard-boiled detective trapped in a cat's body and scattered across a psychic network of orange tabbies. Her Unfamiliar Territory series stars Mischief, a portal-hopping cat whose curiosity threatens entire dimensions. She spends her time building worlds and trying to unravel her cats' many conspiracies. She lives in Texas with her husband and a cadre of furry overlords. Nori and Mochi are the latest recruits, while Nox, nicknamed the Demon Princess, claimed dominion during the writing of Curse Meow Not. Jake Speed and his sister Ripley occupy the middle ranks, and the eldest, Cid, remains her watchful shadow and self-appointed bodyguard.
