5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful memoir!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 October 2020
Wow, what a book. The Butterfly Promise is so beautifully written, it was a breath of fresh air to read - I loved it! It moved me to tears in several parts. Well worth 5 stars and I couldn’t recommend it more! Kristin’s relationship with her Grandmother was so beautifully told and brought me so much joy whilst reading it.
Thank you for writing such a fantastic book!

"Hands down one of the best reads I've experienced in a while! This book is so beautiful, the less I say about this the better, as I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I laughed, I cried, and my heart ached. This is a beautiful memoir and I couldn't recommend it more."

"The Butterfly Promise bursts with heart. On the surface, it's a story of the unbreakable bond between a girl and her grandmother but it goes beyond that. Whether your beliefs are steeped in science or spiritualism, you can't help but connect with "Totie" as she searches for her own answers to dealing with grief and personal enlightenment. Today, with information overload just a click away, it's refreshing to read about life's mysteries and unanswered questions through Totie's experiences. The Butterfly Promise is a reminder to keep your eyes open, as well as your mind and heart, because you just don't know what you might miss."
- Michael Mihaley, author of The Underdog Parade

“The Butterfly Promise is a very moving book. This memoir has everything - love, grief, regrets, surviving, soul mates and open hearts. Most of all, it shows us the power of spirituality & physics in healing; if you can just open yourself up to the signs.”
- Sinead Moriarty, author of The Baby Trail trilogy and The Good Mother
