Kristen Alicia has received praise for her debut novel You've Been Served, including a review from Publishers Weekly and a starred review from the Library Journal. Born and raised in Oakland, CA, Kristen split her time evenly between reading, cuddling her pets, and experimenting in the kitchen. After venturing to Los Angeles for undergrad and trekking to Michigan for law school, Kristen is back in Oakland with her husband, daughter, and their rescue dogs where she spends her days coaching law students and her evenings writing kissing books with witty heroines and hot heroes.
When Kristen isn't wrangling a kid, dog, or husband, she still loves to read, cuddle pets and experiment in the kitchen. She also travels whenever possible, refuses to believe french fries aren't a food group, and hopes to one day live on a farm.
