Kimila Kay lives in Donald, Oregon, with her husband, Randy, and a feisty black cat, Halle. Kimila is currently a member of Northwest Independent Writers Association (NIWA), Ladies of Mystery, Sisters in Crime, Willamette Writers, and Windtree Press. Her cross-cultural suspense/thriller series, Mexico Mayhem, includes “Peril in Paradise,” “Malice in Mazatlan,” “Vanished in Vallarta,” and “Chaos in Cabo.” Still to come are “Lost in Loreto,” Fall 2026, and “Lucky in La Paz,” Spring 2027. The Stoneybrook Mystery/Suspense Series includes “Redneck Ranch,” “Five Golden Rings,” “Whispering Willow,” “Willows Woods,” and “Rattlesnake Ravine.” Still to come are “Fatal Falls,” Spring 2026, and “Jamboree Jealousy,” Summer 2026.
