Kimberly B. Harrison, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, author, speaker, and educator who has spent more than 15 years helping children, teens, and families better understand ADHD, executive functioning, autism, learning differences, and emotional development.

Known to many families simply as "Dr. H.," she is passionate about helping parents move beyond frustration to a deeper understanding of their children. Drawing on years of experience evaluating and working with thousands of children and families, she translates complex psychological concepts into practical ideas that parents, teachers, therapists, and children can easily understand and apply in everyday life.

Dr. Harrison is the creator of The Control Tower Model™, a practical framework for understanding executive functioning, and Wagon Wheels and Ladders™, an engaging way of understanding different thinking styles. She is the author of Screentime As Dessert: A Parent's Guide to Reclaiming Children from Device Overuse, ADHD: The Comprehensive Parent's Guide, My Incredible ADHD Brain: Big Ideas, Big Energy, and Control Tower Kids: The Mystery of the Missing Cargo—the first books in a growing collection of Control Tower Resources™ designed to help families better understand children's remarkable brains.

In addition to writing and speaking, Dr. Harrison created The Parent Experience™, a series of interactive workshops that help parents better understand and support their children, and Control Tower Kids™, engaging programs that help children strengthen executive functioning while learning how their incredible brains work. She is also the creator of The Skilled Student Initiative, a school-based executive functioning program, and continues to provide psychological evaluations, consultation, and professional training through The Conative Group in Houston, Texas.
