Kfir Lev-Ari, PhD, is an AI Research Scientist and distributed systems expert based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He currently serves as a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, focusing on the frontiers of artificial intelligence.

Prior to joining DeepMind, Lev-Ari spent nearly a decade at Apple as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer and Tech Lead. There, he spearheaded pioneering generative AI initiatives, designed foundational architectures for widely used developer tools, and built scalable cloud infrastructure.

Lev-Ari earned his PhD in Distributed Systems from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. His academic and industrial research, published in premier computer science venues and recognized with a Best Paper Award, has focused on the hidden architecture of complex systems, parallel computing, and the foundational correctness of concurrent algorithms.

Bridging logic, science, and the mind, Lev-Ari's deep technical expertise is complemented by a profound exploration of consciousness and non-dual philosophy, drawing inspiration from analytic idealism and the teachings of Bernardo Kastrup and Rupert Spira.

He lives in California with his wife, Anat, their three sons, and their two dogs.
