Ken Zilke has been writing since an early age, but rarely sharing his stories with anyone. After having children, he began telling them bedtime stories, taking them on adventures. He continued to write stories for both adults and children. With his wife Madie's encouragement, he started writing his first novel to be published. After a year of writing and revisions, he completed and published his first novel: Legacies. It is the first in series of thrillers about the Michael private investigation firm. Right now he is currently working on a follow up to Legacies, and a couple of children's books. Now he writes or outlines every day and can now publicly say he is a writer. Ken lives with his wife of 24 years and two children, Kendra and Kaleb in Kissimmee, Florida. They own a company called Advertising Mania, which does Embroidery, Screen Printing, Signs and Banners and Trophies. He loves taking his daughter to dance and coaching his son in football and baseball. Spending quality time with his family is his greatest joy.
