Keddy Emmanuel was born in Vieux-Fort, St. Lucia. Growing up in the community of Desruisseaux, he developed a love for reading and stories. His first book, George Road, is a light-hearted fiction based on the realities in the St. Lucian community in which he grew up. The book induces a wealth of emotion.
