Kathleen C. Kent is an emerging author who shares her life experiences in her debut novel. After experiencing a spiritual awakening through faith in Christ, she felt inspired to tell her story. Her narrative emphasizes that one shouldn’t dwell on past mistakes as it navigates the challenges of adolescence, an abusive relationship with her child’s father, struggles with substance abuse, and times of homelessness. Eventually, it highlights her transformative journey through faith. As a single mother, Kathleen raised her daughter and found love later in life, marrying at 49. Following the passing of her husband, she now lives in New Braunfels, Texas. In addition to being a passionate hospice nurse, she cherishes her role as a grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Sadie Grace. Kathleen earned her degree in Bible studies from Faith Bible Institute, which is linked to her church, Rebecca Creek Baptist Church in Spring Branch, Texas. Kathleen enjoys free time with her daughter, Christina, and granddaughter Sadie Grace.
