Kate Mathos is the author of The Kingdom of Nern middle grade fantasy series. She’s always been an avid reader, and that led to creating characters and writing down stories early in her childhood. She’s a native of the Chicagoland area, and therefore, quietly holds strong opinions on super important topics like where to get the best pizza, whether the Cubs or Sox are better, and what to call the tallest building the city (hint: it’s not Willis).
