Karna Small Bodman served 6 years in the (Reagan) White House - first as Deputy Press Secretary, later as Senior Director of the National Security Council. Now she is the author of a children's picture book, STORIES OF JESUS, and six international thrillers (that have hit #1 in Thrillers on Amazon): The most recent is PROTECTING JESS, the fifth is TRUST BUT VERIFY, the other four have been edited and re-issued by her publisher: CHECKMATE, GAMBIT, FINAL FINESSE and CASTLE BRAVO. She and her husband maintain homes in Washington, DC and Naples, FL along with their Labradoodle, "Cammy" (named for the heroine in the story, GAMBIT).
