KJ Moore is a Doctor of horrible writing and the processes behind it. She has spent just shy of a decade teaching undergraduates to be better, braver writers, and is particularly proud of the ones who went of the rails the same way she did. Her PhD sought to explore why she is so interested in writing terrible things. It is a mashup novel-essay-diary-graphic novel, and has -not one but- two collages made of ripped up porn magazines. It is entirely unpublishable. KJ writes things that are awful but funny in a different light, and things that are weird and gratifying to mull over. Her stories have big hearts despite appearances, just like her.
