'The P**e in a Jam Tart' is a comedy about the perils of little incidents that can inadvertently affect your life in unusual ways. 'The Little Pink Pill' is a psychological thriller, based on true life events. 'Hello' is a thriller on the pitfalls of falling in love with the wrong person and the damage it can cause when you force love when it is not reciprocated. Merlstead Heights Hotel is me finally having a go at an old fashioned ghost story. Inspired by real life experience of living for a year in a haunted hotel back when I was much younger. An Unlikely Funeral is a comedy that was very nearly based on a true story. When an elderly gent dies, his well intentioned neighbours decide to give him a more interesting life for his obituary, a little lie that gets out of hand fast! The Endurance of the Doll Maker is a gentle thriller with a hint of magic and lots of unexpected twists. I began writing after getting more and more frustrated at the many predictable books out there. I like a book to be a little different. Something to sneak up on me and make me laugh, or even make me gasp in horror. So I started writing, and now I can't seem to stop. I've tried to take ordinary subject matter and put my own spin on it to turn it into something a little different. Anything that seemed predictable went out of the window, I can't have that. I don't know if I have achieved this or not, I can only let you be the judge.
