From childhood, I've loved fiction that features engaging characters who take me along with them on their adventures. Some fun and romance here and there help, too. I get even more pleasure by writing the same sort of fiction as I read and sharing it with readers of similar tastes. I also believe most profoundly in happy endings in fiction, for real life supplies so few of them. My published fiction includes the Cinderella, P. I. mystery short stories and novels for grown-ups that feature a favorite fairy tale character twenty years, three kids and a few extra pounds after the ball. I also write the calendar historical mystery series set in Kansas City around 1900 when life could get downright deadly. The novels in this series tell the story of Minty Wilcox and Daniel Price from newly met to newly wed and beyond.
