Julia started growing food after having children and fell in love with it! Today, she grows a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and berries in her 7000 square foot kitchen garden, located in Ontario, Canada, in the rural countryside. Julia has been growing vegetables and writing about gardening for over 11 years. She loves to inspire others to have their own gardens by showing them a less complicated, yet smarter way to grow food. She is a regular guest speaker at local and national horticultural societies and has been featured on several radio shows.
