Josie Lloyd had been writing novels for twenty-five years. Mother of three daughters and a beloved dog, Ziggy, she lives in Brighton in the UK with her husband, Emlyn Rees. Together they have written seven internationally bestselling novels, including Come Together, which was a Sunday Times #1 bestseller in the UK, and was published in twenty-seven languages and made into a Working Title film. They've also written several parodies of their favourite children's books, including 'We're Going On A Bar Hunt', 'The Very Hungover Caterpillar' and 'The Teenager Who Came To Tea'. Josie and Emlyn's first co-written novel in 17 years is called 'You & Me & You & Me & You & Me' and is being published by Penguin in 2026. Josie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 after a routine scan. She wanted to read something positive, hopeful and uplifting about what she was going through, and so wrote 'The Cancer Ladies' Running Club'. As well as writing contemporary fiction, Josie writes big, sweeping historical dramas under the name Joanna Rees. Her latest 'Stitch In Time' trilogy is set in the 1920's in London, Paris and New York. When she's not writing, Josie loves travelling, cooking and is a keen sea swimmer and swims all year round no matter what the weather.
