Josh D. Grant is the author of multiple books on recovery from alcoholism, addiction, and other self-destructive compulsive behaviors. He is a veteran of the United States military and a recovering alcoholic who knows a thing or two about getting knocked down by life’s challenges—and climbing back up again. When he is not writing or supporting others in their recovery, you can find Josh exploring the great outdoors near his home in the Williamsburg, Virginia area. He is an avid fan of hiking the Appalachian Trail, paddleboarding, and yoga. Josh’s philosophy is simple: recovery is about progress, not perfection and it does not need to be all doom and gloom. There’s room for happiness, growth, and maybe even an adventure or two along the way.
