Joseph Atinsky is the author of The Mess of Me: Pain, Rejection, and the Fight to Be Whole, a memoir that speaks to the challenges of emotional healing, faith, and identity. As a public educator and speaker, Joseph brings an honest, relatable voice and emotional depth to every story he tells—whether on the page, in front of an audience, or through media. Beyond writing, Joseph is a musician and creative artist. During a ten-year break from teaching, he explored music, film, and video production, releasing original songs such as Take Me or Leave Me and contributing to independent projects including The Task and Egeria: The Letter of the Christ (IMDb). He also shares reflections on creativity, storytelling, and spiritual growth through his YouTube channel. A natural communicator, Joseph uses his gifts to help others navigate life’s messy middle and discover the strength to heal, rebuild, and move forward with purpose. He lives in Texas with his wife and connects with readers through his ongoing blog, In Process, now featured on Goodreads. Today, Joseph is most excited about returning to the classroom—not just as an educator, but as a whole person whose life experiences enrich his teaching. What once began as a backup plan has become a true passion that allows him to write, create, and say yes to meaningful opportunities that inspire others.
