Joseph Aragon was raised in California. He is a graduate of UCLA and the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. He has traveled widely and has lived in Paris. . Aragon is an avid fan of the political thriller and a great admirer of John le Carré, Daniel Silva, David Ignatius and other superb suspense writers. "Whether it is a richly imagined past or a provocative hint at what may lie ahead, the genre delves into human motives and psyche when great issues are at stake." Aragon worked as a Special Assistant to the President, West Wing, and prior to that as a top aide to Ambassador Robert Strauss at the Democratic National Committee in Washington, D.C. He was awarded the Certificate of Meritorious Service by President Carter.
