Jonathan T. Pennington is Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (USA) and Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Sojourn East church. He is a popular author, speaker, teacher, and preacher who teaches in a wide variety of contexts both academic and in the church.

He holds the PhD in New Testament Studies from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland (in St. Mary’s College), an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a BA in History and Teaching degree from Northern Illinois University.
