Jonathan Davis is the author of the book series Question Things, which gives readers practical advice on how to detach from personal beliefs and teaches new methods for critical thinking. He has been exposed to many schools of thought during his travels around the world, taught English in Eastern Europe, studied Homeland Security Management, served as a special operations Army soldier, graduated the John F. Kennedy School of Special Operations and Unconventional Warfare as a Civil Affairs Specialist, has been in active combat eight times. Civil Affairs Soldiers are trained to be experts in negotiations, governance, economics, and influencing human behavior. Advanced survivability skills allow Civil Affairs forces to operate in small, autonomous teams working among the population in hostile or denied territory. Trained in foreign languages and cultural expertise, Civil Affairs Soldiers build networks of formal and informal leaders to accomplish missions in politically sensitive areas. They are referred to as the Special Operations community's warrior-diplomats. Currently, Jonathan works as a government contractor, writes articles on Substack.com/questionthings, and volunteers in the area of preventing child abuse in orphanages across Eastern Europe.
