John Wick has been writing and designing games since 1995. He first started working with AEG as the "Story Editor" for the Legend of the Five Rings CCG and RPG, then became the creative lead for 7th Sea. He won multiple awards for both games. In 2001, he started designing on his own, creating games such as Houses of the Blooded, Cat: A Little Game about Little Heroes, The Aegis Project, and The Big Book of Little Games. He is also the author of many novels, novellas and short stories. He currently works for Chaosium as the Line Editor for 7th Sea and contributes to Chaosium's other RPG lines as well. He lives in Phoenix with his partner Jessica, two cats and many monsters.
