John holds a BA in Psychology from Hofstra University and a MA in Anglo-Irish Studies from the National University of Ireland. He is a former advertising copywriter (Duncan Hines Cakes, Crisco Shortening). He lives in Barrington, Rhode Island with his wife Maria and their cat Mesmer.
