Dr. John Bartemus is a functional medicine practitioner in Cornelius, North Carolina, where he works with patients who have been told for years that their test results are normal.

He is board certified in integrative medicine, a certified functional medicine practitioner, a doctor of chiropractic, and a member of the PANDAS Physicians Network. He trained at the American Functional Neurology Institute.

His work begins where most appointments end. Rather than treating a symptom list, he reads the whole record, including the parts nobody looked at closely, and works backward to what actually started it. Patients describe it as detective work, and that is roughly what it is.

The Autoimmune Answer collects eleven of those cases. It is used as an accredited continuing education course for registered dietitians and nurses, and carries a foreword by Dr. Alex Vasquez.

He publishes case results and research explainers on his website and on his YouTube channel, where there are now over 1,300 videos.
