Joel Weddington is a physician, amateur philosopher, and soon to be songwriter/guitar player. As a child, Joel was fascinated by outer space and UFOs. This turned into an interest and study of metaphysics as a teenager, and decades later, interactions with spiritual masters in India and Japan. Along the way, he graduated from Texas A&M University, attended medical school, and entered private practice as an orthopedic surgeon. After many years of dedication to his profession, including setbacks that he transformed into achievements, his many ideas and experiences have come together in an outline for a series of ten novels that will follow A Very Human Mission, all to be completed in 2026. Joel lives in the booming River Islands community of California’s Central Valley where he and his wife keep a water garden, grow their own vegetables, and try not to spoil their three rescue cats.
