Joe Paprocki, DMin, is a Master Catechist, Speaker, and Author. He served for 23 years as the National Consultant for Faith Formation at Loyola Press and has over 45 years of experience in pastoral ministry, Joe has taught at the high school, college, and general-adult levels and is the author of over 25 books that have sold over a half-million copies, including the best sellers The Catechist's Toolbox and A Well-Built Faith. His latest book, The Catechist's Toolbox 2.0, was published in 2025. Joe, a graduate of St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, earned his Master's Degree in Pastoral Studies from the Institute for Pastoral Studies (Loyola University of Chicago) and his Doctor of Ministry from the University of St. Mary of the Lake (Mundelein Seminary). He has presented in over 200 dioceses internationally and blogged about the catechetical ministry for 18 years at The Catechist's Journey. He and his wife Joanne have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
