Joan Donaldson loves her goats and daily makes quarts of yogurt and soft cheeses. Her women friends, called the Quilters inspired her to create her latest novel. Ae Fond Kiss takes place in the Utopian Community, Rugby and shows how women friends support each other and provide for their families after a natural disaster. When not writing, Joan loves to garden, sew quilts, and read a book with a cat on her lap. Every day, she walks around her farm and writes notes about the birds and weather in her journal.
