Jim O'Shaughnessy built O'Shaughnessy Asset Management (OSAM) into a Wall Street powerhouse, managing billions of dollars before its successful acquisition. He is now focused on O'Shaughnessy Ventures (OSV), a creative investment firm supporting visionaries in business, technology, science, art, media, and literature. Hailed as a "legendary investor" by Barron's, Jim is the author of the New York Times bestseller What Works on Wall Street and three other influential books. In addition to his contributions to finance, Jim is a former chair of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the host of the popular Infinite Loops podcast. Known for his eclectic insights on topics ranging from philosophy to quantum mechanics, he is highly active on X (formerly Twitter) under the handle @jposhaughnessy. Jim lives in Connecticut with his wife Melissa and enjoys the vibrant company of their three children and six grandchildren.
