Jessica Newby is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Sweet Lotus Mental Health. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, she specializes in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and the often unspoken experience of feeling disconnected from themselves.

Through both her clinical work and her writing, Jessica focuses on making mental health feel more understandable, accessible, and human. Her approach blends professional knowledge with real-life experience, creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and not alone.

Her work centers around the “in-between” moments—when you don’t feel like who you used to be, but you’re not sure who you’re becoming yet.

Let’s Talk About It: You’re Not Lost — You’re Becoming is her first published book.

Her goal is simple: to help you feel less alone, more understood, and a little more like yourself again.
