Jean Weso was born an identical twin and grew up in Copenhagen and Paris. He worked for many years as an editor, journalist and foreign correspondent (Copenhagen, London & Amsterdam), and has written several novels. He lives with his Capetonian wife Ingrid, also an identical twin, in a small French town at the foot of the Pyrenees. When not reading, cycling or playing pétanque, he writes.
