Jason Shaver is the author of Crimson Garden: A Sanctuary of Honey and Shadow and the living Chronicler of the Scarlet Sanctuary itself.

While creating his YouTube Channel, he uncovered the core of a hidden world and decided to flesh it out for the channel alone. What began as lore for narrated confessions soon demanded to be fully realized. In the process, an entire book emerged unbidden—this was an accidental novel, a haunting world that brought itself to life. When he realized what he had, all he had to do was step deeper into the mist and bring the island fully into being.

He dwells upon the distant shore in Bentonville, Arkansas—yet the crimson fog found him all the same. Through the Scarlet Sanctuary series on YouTube and Rumble, he offers the living lore to any soul who hears the hum. There, in narrated confessions and whispered truths, the island speaks directly to those who seek it—drawing them across the black sand shore and up the Thousand-Step Ascent. When he is not tending the digital archives or listening for the next fracture in the Chord, he stands in his studio pouring the official Scarlet Sanctuary Candle Collection. Each scent is a fragment of the garden made flesh: sun-warmed wax and foxfire bloom, dark wild honey, salt-kissed stone, and the heavy sweetness of crimson residue.

Crimson Garden is his debut novel—the first page torn from the living book of the Sanctuary and offered to the world. It is but the opening chapter in an expanding universe. He is now finishing The Hybrid Garden, which will reach those who answer the mist later this year.
