Jaquia Abreu is an ordinary person who isn't so ordinary at all. She tried to fit herself in the box and check everything off the list to seem normal. Yet, that still didn't work. She graduated from Xavier University with a Business Finance degree thinking life would be set after she landed her first job in the finance industry. Little did she know that she would be struggling with depression and in a mental hospital doing worksheets and sharing her deepest traumas with strangers. Her life changed forever. Corporate America was no longer where she felt happy. She finally quit and pursued her dreams. Her mission is no longer to be normal or fit in the box that society has created for her. She no longer craves to fit in or belong. Her only goal is to keep creating her own box, year after year. She hates to be labeled as one thing, because she is many things. She is a blogger, a podcaster, a poet, an essential oil enthusiast, a mental health activist, and an author. She still could care less about those titles. She wants to be remembered for one thing and one thing only; being a soul that inspired other souls to remember their greatness and their beauty, so they can achieve their dreams and live out their full purpose. That is all. Because she truly believes we are all great, we are all extraordinary, and we all are called to create our own boxes.
