J.R. Pestel is a caffeine addicted, nature and animal loving business owner in Mesa AZ. The business is making and selling scented candles and wax melts, and she has a lot of fun doing it. When she is not knee deep in wax and fragrance oil, she likes to write about demons and demon hunters, along with some science fiction tales as well. She draws her inspiration from many places; watching episodes of her favorite TV series “Supernatural” and “The Dresden Files,” as well as from events that happen not only in her own life, but in current affairs as well – The well-publicized incident now known as “The Phoenix Lights” provided the inspiration behind her upcoming science fiction thriller “Grays”. Even though what she writes is fiction, she wants the demons to be as real as possible, so she always does research to make sure the demon she is using in a particular book is actually known for whatever evil it is perpetrating. Did you know that the demon named in “The Bucktown Babies” actually is, according to demonology, the demon responsible for infant mortality and miscarriages?
