Janet Pywell has published the Mikky dos Santos international crime thrillers, the Ronda George domestic thrillers and the Westbay Romance Series. Janet has also published two books of short stories and runs her own Novel Mentoring course. With a thirty-year background in travel and tourism, she lived and worked in Spain for twenty years and Ireland for ten years where she had her own marketing company. She has travelled extensively. Janet gained an MA in Creative Writing at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University while living in Belfast (2013). She has been a tutor at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) on the MA & BA Creative Writing programme and taught English to foreign students (TEFL). As a mentor to writing students of all ages she enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience. She is highly motivated and driven and she takes pride in helping others achieve their dreams to improve their writing. Janet plans classes, seminars and workshops and she enjoys meeting like-minded authors and readers, speaking at events and promoting her books. With a passion for writing Janet has studied online with the University of Southampton (Shipwrecks and Submerged Worlds), the University of Glasgow (Antiquities Trafficking), the University of Kent (Forensic Psychology), and at the UEA -University of East Anglia - (An Introduction to Screenwriting) to enhance her knowledge and to add authenticity to her work.
