Jane K. Callahan is a end-of-line doula and writer from Brooklyn, NY. For nearly a decade, Jane has worked with dying people and their families through hospice volunteering and via her own community practice, Peaceful Crossings Durham. She is certified by the University of Vermont's Larner College of Medicine, trained with the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) and holds a proficiency badge from the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA). Jane also serves on the board of directors for the National Funeral Consumers Alliance-North Carolina. She holds an MA in English from the University of Hawaii and is pursuing her second MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina Central University.
