Pastor James Ashley serves as the pastor of Line Upon Line Apostolic Church, where he labors faithfully to teach the whole counsel of God to a generation hungry for truth. With a heart set on making the deep things of scripture plain and applicable, Pastor Ashley has devoted his life and ministry to preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified, and to helping believers grow, as the Apostle Peter said, "as newborn babes" who desire the sincere milk of the word, that they may grow thereby.

He is the author of several books born out of years spent in the pulpit and in the pages of scripture, including his study of the book of Romans, Line Upon Line, Men and Brethren, Living Waters, and None Other Name Under Heaven. Each work reflects his conviction that sound doctrine and a genuine relationship with God go hand in hand, and that the Bible, rightly divided, still speaks with power to the church today.

Pastor Ashley is blessed with a stunning wife and two children, and it is at home, just as much as in the church house, where he lives out the truths he teaches and writes about. Whether in the pulpit, on the page, or leading a Bible study, his desire remains the same, that souls would come to know Jesus Christ in the newness of life and walk in the truth once delivered to the saints.
