Jaane Janssen is the pseudonym of a German-language bestselling author who is best known for suspense literature. Jaane Janssen loves the sea and can often be found there as a certified PADI diver. She has been interested in history and shipping since her childhood and enjoys sailing. Therefore, she cannot pass by ports without taking a closer look at the ships and sailing boats. In addition to the Nordic areas, they are also drawn to Asia. In her free time, she writes songs, likes to actively make music, reads a lot and regularly cries during Korean drama series. »The Trail of Longing« is the prelude to the moving »East Frisia Saga«. The book was in the top 20 of the BILD BESTSELLER list, was in the top 20 of the Kindle charts for a month (and is still in the top 100) and was nominated for Book of the Month November on LESERKANONE.
