J.S. was born and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio, a small port town on the southern shore of Lake Erie. A Sunday’s child, an unrepentant Virgo, and an unwilling Catholic, J.S. gravitated towards science fiction and fantasy at an early age, especially the original Star Trek series, and he is a die-hard fan to this day. A self-proclaimed purveyor of pop music, J.S. still retains his collection of childhood 45s, his college vinyl, and over 1,000 CDs that he just can’t part with. J.S. came out as queer in his early twenties, though he’d been pairing M/M couples from mainstream media long before that. J.S. has penned a fair bit of M/M fan fiction across a number of fandoms, now focusing on M/M original fiction. He resides in North Fort Myers, Florida, with his husband, Tommy.
