Jayden Phoenix is a genre-defying truth-teller who doesn't just stay within boundaries—if a page lies, she burns it to the ground. A Brooklyn-born poet, essayist, entrepreneur, notary public, and Metro-North customer service representative living in the Bronx, New York, her ten-collection body of work serves as a forensic audit of social contracts, personal complicity, spatial integrity, and radical self-accountability.

Moving beyond traditional emotional prose, her writing incorporates clinical mechanics, structural boundary enforcement, and the non-negotiable revocation of consent. Her work spans survival, silence, rage, resilience, and reclamation, delivered in a voice as raw as it is refined. One poem might leave a bruise, another bare its teeth, and yet another whisper something only broken hearts can understand.

Jayden’s poetry isn't meant to offer comfort—it is lived, layered, and deeply authentic. She writes for those who had to laugh through trauma, spit verses through clenched teeth, and carry stories no one wanted to hear. Eclectic in tone yet rooted in truth, her work resists easy classification because survival doesn't have just one voice, and neither does she. You won't find polished perfection here; you'll find what is real.

Outside of her literary portfolio, she operates Onion Bake Corporation, formulating hand-poured soy candles and fragrance products, and manages her notary practice. With the completion of Phoenixisms: The Vault, she formally locks the archive on her foundational era and transitions into new literary territory as Vashti Ori.
