J. Karl Jones is a science-fiction author and creator of The Aberrant Series, an alternative history science-fiction saga that reexamines humanity’s past through the lens of ancient intelligences, cosmic rebellion, and hidden forces shaping civilization from the shadows.

His work is driven by a lifelong fascination with astronomy, ancient history, and the possibility that humanity is neither alone nor accidental. Blending speculative science with mythic themes, Jones explores what happens when the architects of creation turn against what was created.

The first book in The Aberrant Series is now available. Additional installments are in development, alongside research for a future narrative nonfiction project.

Jones lives in Kentucky with his wife of 40 years and values time with his children and grandchildren when he is not writing.
