The cool thing about having initials for a name is that I can adapt to the mood of the day. Today I'm Jousting Demons, because what's cooler than that? I've also been Just Depressed sometimes, or a Jenius Dilettante (the true mark of a jenius is to abandon conventions, like spelling, when they get in the way, and also to use fancy words like dilettante). And finally Jalopy Dan, because that's what my friends called me in high school. I've also got some J. D. movie ideas. Jupiter Descending, which has a nearly identical premise to Jupiter Ascending except Channing Tatum is his character from Magic Mike instead of whatever he was before. There's also Jaws Deux, which is identical to Jaws 2 except it sounds more sophisticated and I get all the credit. I've been pitching these ideas to studios, but no word back yet. And I write books.
