Having survived with most of his wits intact, he sensibly took up writing instead. His harem books sometimes blend genres—fantasy, sci-fi, and thrillers—and often involve characters rising from humble beginnings to shake their worlds. He remains convinced that writing is the one profession where staring into space counts as productivity, and is determined to keep fooling people on that front for as long as humanly possible.
