Fascinated by aviation and space since his childhood and influenced by the adventure of the Japanese cartoon “UFO Robot Grendizer” he had the dream of becoming a military pilot. In 1993, after graduated from the Aeronautical Institute “de Pinedo” in Rome, he joined the Military Academy of Guardia di Finanza and became a military pilot in 1997. He was on duty in a maritime patrolling unit until 2000 and then began his career as an airline pilot in Alitalia, flying the MD80. At the end of 2008 he lost the job due to the crisis of Alitalia and moved to Qatar flying the A320 where he found inspiration for his first book "A pilot's Story, from the funeral of Alitalia to the Desert of Qatar". After almost three years in Qatar he came back to Europe for a short while to work for a low cost airline, but moved again, this time heading to the far east, Taiwan initially flying the B747 and then Hong Kong again on A320. After 7 years in Asia it was time to return home and to publish the second book "A pilot's Story, from the Low Cost to the conquering of the East". Back to Rome thing were not as expected. The work anvironment was toxic and pushed him away back to the Middle East.,
