Issakha Dia is a seasoned leader in audit, risk management, and compliance, having forged a dynamic career in Canada since arriving in Montreal in late 2010 with a suitcase of textbooks and an unshakable drive. Spanning over 15 years, from 2010 to 2025, he has worked across North America, Europe, and Africa, serving global firms and public entities in industries like manufacturing, rentals, finance, and governance. His climb from outsider to influencer is underscored by certifications like CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance), and CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist).

His journey began in Senegal, auditing multinational operations with precision. In Canada, he transformed processes at a rental firm from 2013 to 2016, outpacing peers with technical savvy. From 2017 to 2021, he led compliance efforts at a financial powerhouse, followed by a stint in 2021–2022 shaping regulatory audits. Now a senior leader at a public organization, he drives assurance and mentors teams, blending grit with strategy.

Educated at the National School of Business and Management—École Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion—in Morocco (Audit and Accounting), he has added credentials from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (Web Development), Harvard Business School (Business Analytics), and the University of Toronto (Predictive Analytics and Big Data). Fluent in English and French, he fuses data-driven insight with stakeholder trust. A citizen, husband, and father, he resides in a quiet Ontario community, where his children’s native rhymes echo his roots. Unwritten Rules is his playbook—cracking hidden codes for those bold enough to rise.
