Inara Gage is an indie author nestled in the foothills of Colorado, where she lives with her son, Gauge (her favorite human in the world), her mastador Khaleesi, and her kitty Nox, who they lovingly refer to as Keeee. Her dark romantasy series, The Beautifully Broken Saga, has captivated readers across the world. With three books already out—A Bond with the Dark, A Bond with the Blood of Angels, and A Bond with the Wrath of Demons—Inara is currently working on the highly anticipated fourth installment, A Bond with the Shimmer of Shadows, set to release in spring 2026. Inara contributed to Rage: A Dark Romance Anthology for Reproductive Rights, a collaborative project supporting vital women’s causes. Her story, Beauty Within the Beast—a haunting, gender-reversed retelling where the female takes the role of the beast—rose to become her #1 best seller. Most recently, Inara released Enlivened Decay: The Purified in October 2025, just in time for spooky season. She’s currently working on three to four new projects, including more reverse-gender retellings of beloved fairy tales, and will be appearing at author events throughout this year and next. A survivor and storyteller at heart, Inara also penned A Witch’s Aura and Aura’s Dilemma over a decade ago while battling leukemia—a testament to her resilience and creative spirit. When she’s not crafting stories or lost in a good book, you can find Inara soaking up the Colorado sunshine, exploring the outdoors, or making memories with her son.
