Heather Drummond was born in Zimbabwe, Africa in 1976. She spent a couple of years living and travelling in Europe in her early twenties before returning home. There, Heather set up a flourishing art export business that saw her make exciting connections all over the world. After the sudden loss of her mother and sister, Heather turned to some unusual practices that she was introduced to by her boyfriend at the time. She kept a journal of the various processes and was inspired to turn her experience into a book because it was a profound journey. Heather is passionate about living lightly and believes that life can be just as wild, crazy and fun while sober, and food can taste just as good without being unhealthy or harmful to the environment. Heather currently lives in Mauritius with her husband Garth and their two children, River and Dune. She now teaches these practices under the Art of Living to people looking to heal from emotional or health issues of any kind.
